"Music is a moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness and life to everything. It is the essence of order, and leads to all that is good, just and beautiful; of which it is the invisible, but nevertheless dazzling, passionate and eternal form"  -  (Plato)

Music Eye seeks out and supports emerging talent.

We, ourselves, emerged out of watching local bands perform in the pubs around Frome, the small town with the unique and creative independent spirit, or should I say interdependent because there is great community spirit here too; and music plays a great part in creating it.

I was just a member of the audience, going out to gigs to relieve me from life’s challenges and often felt touched and inspired to record the performances with my camera phone and then upload them to social media, like you do!

The musicians seemed really grateful and acknowledged my support which led me to gain insight into the need for promotion in an increasingly complex and saturated music business; and that struggling live music venues could also gain from the exposure.

I became aware that most musicians do not have adequate resources or time for promotion and Music Eye's videos and reviews of live performances and albums were being valued, especially as we were filming in obscure places and undertook the time-consuming editing and posting onto social media channels, along with friendly and (hopefully) humorous reviews!

Music Eye is now building a brand and presence due to the unique approach of its written and video output, not only capturing and highlighting emerging  talent, but also featuring significant musicians from the past that can be torchbearers for the new generation.

We also have dedicated Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube accounts which remain globally significant as information is shared for the exponential growth of awareness.
