The Final of this unique event gave seven emerging bands the chance to compete for one place to play at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival and it created an electrifying atmosphere that I was fortunate enough to witness. Although a competition, all seven bands supported each other throughout the night and it warms the heart to see such respect and camaraderie; There is no doubt that having the chance to play at this legendary Festival is a major waymark on a bands journey to success and I wish them all well.

The quality of each bands songwriting, musicianship and vocals shone out, and great respect to Cosmic Ninja, IOTA, Robert J Hunter, Chrissie Huntley, The Flavians, Imprints and Broken Witt Rebels.

The Music Eye film portrays the event in small excerpts from start to finish and gives a flavour of the night. As it happens, there were actually three winners, not one, but at the end of the day, they all deserved to win....watch the film..

Music Eye intends to capture the raw energy of live performances of emerging unsigned bands in all types of venue and in all conditions. The Pilton Working Men's Club is one of the best venues with an exemplary stage, impressive sound mixing and lighting. On this night, each band gave energy performances to rock the Club to its core and it did not disappoint.

A night to remember.
