Tamsin Quin singing out of the rain........

A rainy afternoon, so where better to go than a Boathouse...and with Tamsin Quin singing it was a welcome shelter. Tamsin, who has supported Beth Orton and the Strawbs, lit up the room with a charming presence; she enjoys the simplicity of playing solo and gave us an hour and a half of songs including originals from her album "Gypsy Blood", which will be reviewed soon.

The Boathouse is a pleasant venue and Tamsin's PA gave a clarity to overide the natural background noise of a thriving Sunday afternoon...
